We were thrilled to welcome back Tariq Yue to the Media Chess Club on Tuesday, May 27, fresh off his dominant performance at SuperNationals VIII in Orlando, Florida.
Tariq didn’t just participate — he swept the competition, bringing home three national titles:

He won everything there was to win — a rare and remarkable feat at the largest scholastic chess tournament in the country.
Tariq dropped by the club this week and was all smiles (and medals!) as we congratulated him in person. We’re proud to support his journey and can’t wait to see what he conquers next.
