Spring Super Swiss Nears Exciting Conclusion
The battle for the Spring Super Swiss title is heating up, with Aaron Biscoe, Ed Kline, Jim Larsen, and Denis Markov all vying for the top spot. Aaron and Ed in particular have been standout performers as of late, and their upcoming matches are eagerly awaited by all. It’s anyone’s game as we head into the final round this Tuesday—come down to the club to witness who will be crowned the champion!
Welcoming New Members
Our club continues to grow, and we’re delighted to welcome Kevin Andrew, Sophie Liu, and William Green to our ranks. Their enthusiasm and fresh perspectives are wonderful additions, and we look forward to their participation in upcoming games and events.
Spring Quad
Join us on Tuesday, April 30th, for a dual-rated Quad event. This format ensures each club member can engage in three competitive matches, perfect for sharpening skills and rising in the ranks. Please register in advance to confirm your participation.
Park Avenue Chess Club’s Spring Open
Don’t miss the Spring Open on Saturday, May 18th, at the Park Avenue Community Center in Swarthmore; just a stone’s throw from Media, PA. This four-round, dual-rated chess tournament is open to all for just a $10 entry fee. It’s a fantastic opportunity for a weekend of competitive chess in our local area.
