Media boasts ample weekday parking; however, a recent borough policy has extended metered parking until 8pm on Tuesdays. To help members of the chess club find convenient parking options, we’ve produced this guide which highlights a few free options.

1. Glen Providence Park – there are around 20 free spaces at this park which is a block away from the club. Keep in mind the walk is hilly.
2. West Street – find this on-street parking option just north of the Glen Providence park on West Street.
3. State Street – the segment of State Street between South Lemon and West Street has on-street parking available. Look closely at signage to confirm.
4. Lemon Street – on-street parking available in the stretch of South Lemon Street between State and Baltimore Ave. This is the most convenient as it is on the same block as the chess club.
5. 3rd Street and Beyond – if you are up for a 10-minute walk, there is a lot of free parking beyond 3rd street.
